I felt compelled to write you and tell you how much we enjoyed the lobsters and clam chowder we ordered from The Fresh Lobster Company! My mother is a native of Massachusetts (Westfield), and a through and through New Englander. She and my father are now retired in Apache Junction, Arizona, and I surprised them with an order of four live lobsters and clam chowder for Mother¡¦s Day. My mom was thrilled!! The lobsters traveled across the country, into the Arizona heat (it was 105 degrees that day!!), and they couldn¡¦t have been more fresh! They were all alive when they arrived, and they were delicious when they were cooked. We also wished we ordered more chowder!! It was amazing!!!

A birthday gift for my Father.
I wanted to thank you for an order that you shipped for me – a birthday gift for my Father, on the occasion of his 79th. He and my mother were absolutely impressed by the packaging — complete with birthday packaging – something that I didn’t even explicitly ask for – but THANK YOU for making this so special. More importantly, my father loves fantastic seafood – his favorites are NE clam chowder, salmon, crab meat and scallops. He’s quite discerning and won’t say something is good – unless it is really above and beyond. I ordered all of these things – and hoped that at least one would hit the spot for him… quite the contrary — each day he had something new – he was delighted at how excellent the product tasted and was prepared (in the case of the Clam Chowder).

Thanks for making the packaging a real treat for him to open — at 79 years – it isn’t easy to impress him! And your seafood is outstanding! I can’t wait to order some for myself!

They arrived in PERFECT CONDITION!!
As I sit here on the computer this morning, I am STILL full from our little lobster feast last night. They arrived in PERFECT CONDITION, (just like the last order) still lively, and magnificent. I dipped them in the proverbial hot bath for about 8 minutes and then sealed them up in heavy aluminum foil with lime and onion and butter, and introduced them to the ol` Weber grill for about another 20 minutes. It is just amazing that something can possibly taste that HEAVENLY!!!!!!! I will continue to do business with you until either I die or you cease business. Thank you for your excellent service. Anyone I know that expresses a desire to have lobster will immediately be directed to your site. Kudos to you all.

Hi there, just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much we LOVED the Big Red Bugs, (what my grandson calls them) we received from you. I was born in MA, and lived on Cape Cod for years. I moved to Florida 25 years, so I am no rookie when it comes to lobsters. These 3 lobsters were the best I have ever tasted. They arrived huge and very lively!!!! After admiring them for about an hour, they had to be cooked. We were celebrating my daughters promotion and the lobbies made it so special. I usually order them every year when the craving hits, but have never had yours before. I am sold and have told all my friends to order from you from now on. Not just the lobsters but the bibs, pickers and info were awesome. I steamed them after reading your directions, instead of boiling and loved them. The only way to go!!!!!

For my wife’s 74th birthday Sunday, I took a gamble and ordered five pounds of swordfish from your online catalog so our family of eight could have a rare mid-summer treat.
This note is to tell you how delighted everyone was with your product. It’s amazing that very fresh fish could be packed in Gloucester on Friday afternoon, delivered on the banks of the Mississippi River at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and cooked at 2 p.m. Sunday to rave reviews. No fishy smell. Absolutely fresh and delicious. A far cry from the miserable stuff we are able to buy in St. Louis. A great treat enjoyed by all — including the seafood purist/birthday girl who usually follows her mother’s advice not to eat seafood unless she can see the ocean from her table. You folks know your business and we’ll be back for special occasions in the future.

Recently, I ordered two live 5# lobsters. This was the first time I attempted this and was uncertain what to expect. The lobsters arrived within 24 hours of my order, were in great shape and most importantly, were delicious. I grew up on the East Coast and really missed fresh seafood when I moved to Tennessee. I greatly appreciate your company providing me the opportunity to experience good seafood again.

Just a note to tell you how really great the Sea Urchin’s were that you sent us. Delicious! Excellently fresh and buttery with none of the preservatives often put in by others. Hello to all of you at The Fresh Lobster Company! I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful gift I sent my sister and her husband. For his birthday in January, my sister rented a home on the Gulf of Mexico in Gulf Shores, AL and invited 10 of us to join them. (I am not sure how spending a week with all his sister-in-laws was a gift for her husband…..but it worked for the rest of us.) We were able to leave snowy, freezing temperatures in Michigan and spend a week soaking up the beautiful weather–we arrived to 70 degrees and sunshine! As a thank you gift my mom and I wanted to send them something unique–I found you just by searching the Internet. I was a little worried to send a gift from a company I had never heard of–but I am so glad I did! Thank you for all the follow up–I had entered my e-mail address wrong in the contact info, so someone called me direct to let me know you had received my order and it was being processed. My sister and her husband received their box yesterday–right on schedule, they were very happy with the gift of steaks, crab cakes, and the fancy deserts! She told me how cute the box was right down to the pretty tissue, confetti, and other decorations. They love seafood—although she was relieved there was not a live lobster crawling around in the box–your name scared her a titch. Again–thank you for making my thank you a piece of cake!

Hi – I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the Ipswich/Essex Steamer clams I ordered! They were the best I have ever had! I have ordered steamer clams from other websites, but very glad I chose yours this time! I am originally from NJ and now live in Louisiana where oysters are King so I miss the availability of fresh steamer clams and have to order on line when I want them. I was also impressed when I opened the package….the festive tissue paper with little sparkles was a VERY nice touch! I will definitely be a repeat customer! I also want to say that this is by far the best seafood that I have ever ordered via the internet. Everything arrived in first rate condition. In fact, there wasn’t a single mussel that had to be discarded before or after being cooked! That is a first for me! The lobster, Jonah Crab Claws, mussels and the scallops were some of the best that I’ve had.
